Career in Beer

Recruitment video series

Labor shortages hit the beer industry, too.

The National Beer Wholesalers Association represents the 3000 independent beer distributors in America. Like most industries in 2022, beer distributors were struggling to attract long-term, quality employees and stand out as an employer of choice during the worker shortage. They reached out to us to help them with a new recruitment video series.

Drilling down

We also produced three job-specific recruitment videos focusing on beer delivery drivers, merchandisers, and the warehouse team. NBWA, in a blog post, described it as a “creative and inspiring recruitment tool to our members as they look to attract new hires amidst a nationwide labor shortage.”

We helped coordinate multiple shoots specific to the needs of this campaign and also drew on our six-year library of existing to footage to make this first Career in Beer video.

“More than 200 member companies have downloaded the video. “

More V.O. artists for a more fluent audience

To further the reach of the video, NBWA requested versions with three different voiceovers—male, female, and Spanish language. Slate Roof Films modified the video for each voice-over artist, as well as creating Spanish language titling.

The videos are available for all of their members to download and use on social media, at career fairs, and beyond. Multiple state organizations, including New Hampshire, Virginia, and Arkansas, have contacted us for additional customization, to include their own locally-produced footage or feature a local voice-over artist.
