Documentary-style recruitment series

“It was a decision that I knew I was willing to make to make less money to love my job. And that was important to me. And I do love it. “

A supportive and consistent preschool educational environment

Southwestern Community Services Head Start serves income-eligible families in Cheshire and Sullivan counties in New Hampshire. It’s more than preschool—it’s a program that supports the whole family.

We were approached by SCS and the Head Start team in the spring of 2022. They were looking to create a recruitment video to attract potential employees for the next school year. They were specifically looking for teachers so they were able to open additional classes (which had plenty of students on waiting lists).

We are firm believers in giving back to the community, and so we went above and beyond to make sure that this non-profit was able to receive a successful video. We eeked out every last bit of budget we could, and then additionally donated some of our own time--as parents of a young child, we truly believe in this program, and saw how important it was to the community.

Shortly after delivering the final edit, our contact with SCS let us know that not one, but two teachers were hired as a result of the video we produced. The message we recieved was quite literally the most heart-warming and important of our careers.

A fun overview…

SCS Head Start also wanted to make a fun video with some of the students, telling potential teachers 5 things they should know about working for SCS Head Start.
